• Hello, my name is Rick Frantz I am a photographer and recent graduate of Edinboro Univ. in Edinboro PA, for photography and animation. I have just been chosen for a two month long residency program through the school. The goal of this residency is build a resume and portfolio for a beginning photo career, my goal is to do this and create a photo show for a gallery showing by photographing hot rods, rat rods, muscle cars, and the people who own them, chop them channel them, restore them to original or just live the lifestyle of a hot rodder ie. dressing like a pinup, or greaser from the 40's, 50's, or 60's era. Classic cars no matter what they are is something I have always loved thanks to my father and mother. I own a 1970 Torino rag top my father and I just restored. I want to tell the stories of other people that are into hot rodding, even if there ride isn't finished or it's just been sitting for years and they just don't want to sell it, or they don't drive it anymore, or they don't own any now but still have something to give to this project. I know this is bit long for an email but I want to try and explain what the purpose of this email and project is as much as possible. I live in Erie, PA I am hoping you can help me let people who are in my area or will be in the area and are interested in being part of this that I would welcome hearing from them and possibly working with them.
