Woodward Ave Dream Cruise 2012
Calling All Rodders,
This weekend we traveled with friends to Detroit Michigan to our annual Woodward Ave Adventure. In August of 1995, Nelson House and a group of volunteers looked to relive the hay days of the 50's and 60's when youth, music and Motor City still roamed Woodward Ave. America's first Highway. That year 250,000 people participated, nearly ten times the number expected. The rest is history! Today, The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest one day automotive event!! 1.5 million people and 50,000 classic, hot rod, muscle cars etc participate!! A must see for any car enthusiast! Enjoy the pictures.

DJ Bill and Wife Beth at the Cruise the Bay Event. |
If not let me introduce him to you...
As, his wife Beth will tell you he is the hardest working DJ in Erie, PA. Her summers are spent on the road with him entertaining a great deal of the Erie community at most of the local car
shows, not to mention announcing at Lake Erie Speedway, and his multi-radio-station jobs. Bill feels so privileged to be a part of all of it, and he is one of the hardest working men I know. Now is the time to vote for him and show him that the community and events he is affiliated with appreciate him too. Please go to www.erieschoice.com Erie Choice 2012, take a minute to register and vote for Bill Mason as our choice for 2012. He is the most deserving man I know and this would make his whole year....Thank You!!
Over the years he has giving unselfishly to you the cruisers, it's time to repay him with your kindness.
Thank you for your continued service to the local community, Rex and I truly believe you deserve this award, Good Luck!

Summit Racing Equipment Tallmadge, Ohio
Calling All Rodders,
Today, we rode over to Tallmadge, Ohio. What is there you might say? Summit Racing Equipment.

This store is like a giant candy store for my husband, LOL. We pulled in and his eyes glazed over and the mental shopping began. This was going to be a long shopping trip I could tell. After roaming over the store, and grazing at the scratch and dent sale they were having this weekend, it was off to the ordering counter. Friends of ours, and I roamed the store in search of our own bargains. Each of us filled our basket with things and headed off to the cashier. It was there that I hear my husband say to the couple behind us, " Oh she won't be happy when we get to the counter and she finds out I spent about $550.00." Little does he know that I expected he would spend more so I was happy, he controlled himself some LOL. Good thing for him I love the cars as much as he does. The car parts bill is usually not a problem at our house. All in all it was a nice day, We continued on thru Amish Country to the Middlefield Cheese factory for some fresh curd and beef sticks and a nice ride home. It was a good day!

Family Fun at Cruise the Bay in Erie PA
Calling All Rodders,
Another fun filled evening was had at the Cruise the bay event in Erie, PA. I know, I have written about this event many times, but I thought you would like to see just how much fun we do have on Mondays! As we have said this event, is open to all call enthusiasts and the public. Each week they have a theme, and some fun party games to entertainment. Tonight Bonnell Hot Rod Shop was the sponsors. For fun Jack & Judy set up a hula hoop contest and bubble gum blowing contest.
