Happy New Year let the 2013 season begin!

Calling All Rodders,

Happy New Year Cruisers,
As the new year begins, let us reflect on the past year and give thanks for all the things in our life that we take for granted.  Sometimes we get caught up in our own woos and forget how lucky we are to live in a great country and have the advantage of making our own decisions and our own path in life.

Last year brought us a great summer to enjoy ALL those wonderful car shows and cruise ins.  It was an awesome summer.  The schedule is starting to fill in for the 2013 summer events.  Remember to get your info in early.   Only a few short months and we will be heading out to those events and having summer fun.  Cruise the Bay will start in May for our Monday night fun.  This year we will add the Summer Fun Cruise In for June brought to you by Calling All Rodders and Supreme Storage.  This event will be benefiting a worthy automotive student, from the Erie County Technical School, with a scholarship to start his or her way into the automotive field.  We have had an unbelievable response from local businesses in helping our cause.  Make sure you put this event on your schedule this summer.  Mark your calendars for June 22, 203 at the Erie County Technical School on Oliver Rd. Erie, PA.

Let the fun begin...Get those cars ready we plan on having fun again this summer!  Thank you ALL again for your continued support! Wishing you and your families a healthy happy new year!

PA Jeep at the car show in Florida

Calling All Rodders,

Tonight we went over to the Spanish Springs Town Square to the  Annual Car Show.  We love being back in Florida.  Tonight the entertainment at the Villages was the Cruise In. It was a warm night and the streets were filled with beautiful cars.

As we checked out the local collections we saw a Jeep off  to the side we wondered over to take a closer look.  The owner, Jim Coleman was standing by and we started to talk.  We noticed his plate said PA.  We ask which part of Pa he was from and he said Erie!! We laughed and said small world... So are we!   He has been in  Florida for 7 and 1/2 years.  He said he once lived in Erie around the Keasarge Airport.  Which is now the Millcreek Mall.  Back in the day he drove this very same Jeep to McDowell every day to school back in 1955.  We enjoyed a nice evening reminiscing about Erie. Goes to show its a small world after all.
