The Blessing Of the Cars

Calling All Rodders,
The 2008 seasons first Cruise the Bay was held tonight. The weather may not have been warm but quite a few cruisers still made the trip out, along with the local tv stations.

The blessing of the cars and flag ceremony was held. The Erie City Mission was on hand and the sponsor for tonights show. Many great gift baskets were included in a chinese auction to raise money for the mission, thanks to all who participated.

If you have not come down to the bay for this cruise in the past , you will want to mark your calanders and join the gang for food, prizes, music, and fellowship on Monday nights through out the 2008 season from 6pm-9pm....See ya the next event.

First Assembly of God 6th Annual show !

Calling All Rodders,
Well the weather was cool and the winds were blowing but the cruisers and car enthusiasts were still out at the car, truck, and motorcycle show that was held at the "First Assembly of God Church on Oliver Road in Erie, Sat May 17, 2008." It was a rain or shine event and many cruisers took advantage of that and showed off their winter projects and upgrades. The rain drops were fallen here and there and the dry off towels were getting a work out.

Door prizes, activities, dash plaques, music, chinese auctions, food concessions even kettle corn was available for this event. The local bloodmobile was even there for convenient donations.

Proceeds benefited the Royal Family Kids Camp, the event was free and open to the public. Make sure if you missed this event you try to get to it next year.
Fun was had by all.... See ya at the next event!

Getting the Word Out!

Calling All Rodders,
The cruising has started and it's time to get the word out about the new fellowship site we are building. I have had a lot of positive feedback from the public and feel this is going to become a great site for area cruises and car collectors.

Don't forget to inform your friends of this new site so we can get this built up quickly and provide a one stop web presence for fellow cruises. Remember to let them know this is a membership site and membership drive has started. Keeping an up to date and informative site is our goal to unite area cruises and car collectors together.

Thanks again to all who have helped get this up and running so quickly.
Annette****Let's go cruising!***
